Facebook Live Session with Rob Cowan, Executive Producer,Aquaman on Thursday 30 Nov at 12noon

Following on from filming Aquaman here in Queensland, Rob Cowan is now back in LA but will be jumping online to answer your questions in this special Facebook Live Session.

Rob Cowan is a 35 year veteran in the film industry having worked on over 40 productions in both features and television. He’s a long standing member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the Director’s Guild of America, The Producer’s Guild of America and the Writer’s Guild of America.

Cowan began his career in British Columbia, as an Assistant Director on such money making films as THREE MEN AND A BABY with Tom Selleck and Ted Danson, STAKEOUT with Richard Dreyfuss and Emilio Estevez and COCKTAIL with Tom Cruise. He transitioned to producing and living in Los Angeles after making 2 films with Academy Award winning producer Irwin Winkler. Through that 18 year collaboration they made films with Robert De Niro GUILTY BY SUSPICION and NIGHT AND THE CITY both of which Winkler directed, the successful cyber hit THE NET – starring Sandra Bullock, THE JUROR, starring DEMI MOORE and ALEC BALDWIN and followed quickly by AT FIRST SIGHT starring Val Kilmer and Mira Sorvino.

As head of his own company Cowan’s first project was producing the much anticipated RIGHTEOUS KILL starring Robert Deniro (their third paring) and Al Pacino followed shortly after by a George Romero remake THE CRAZIES and the highly successful THE CONJURING (4th highest grossing horror film of all time) . Next was the New Line comedy TAMMY that teamed Melissa McCarthy with her husband Ben Falcone, then the blockbuster SAN ANDREAS starring Dwayne Johnson – collaborating again with McCarthy and Falcone for Universal’s THE BOSS and continuing his relationship with director James Wan to produce the well received and box office hit THE CONJURING 2.

Teaming once again with James Wan – Cowan has just wrapped on the Warner Brothers live action adaptation of DC Comics Aquaman.

Aquaman was secured to Queensland through the Queensland Government Production Attraction Strategy Fund..
