Screen Queensland to Support Local Games Practitioners to attend Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP)


Screen Queensland (SQ) is proud to announce an initiative to support a delegation of Queensland games developers to attend this year’s Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP).

SQ – as a sponsor of GCAP 2016 – will provide additional funding to assist up to 10 local games practitioners to attend Australia’s premier game development conference from the 1 – 2 November 2016 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Funding will cover event registration plus a contribution towards travel and accommodation for the duration of the conference and is designed to support Queensland games developers, boosting the profile of the local industry and its ability to connect Australia-wide and internationally.

Please note the grant will be capped at $1,000 AUD.

This opportunity – part of Screen Queensland’s commitment to growing a successful games industry in the state – will enable successful applicants to engage with industry experts and market players.
