Screen Queensland to Support Games Practitioners in attending the Games Developers Conference (GDC) in 2017


Screen Queensland (SQ) is offering support for a delegation of Queensland game developers to attend the 2017 Game Developers Conference (GDC).

SQ will provide funding to assist up to 5 (five) local practitioners to attend the game development conference which runs 27 February – 3 March 2017 at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, California.

GDC attracts over 27,000 attendees, and is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games and virtual reality gather to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry.  GDC is produced by the UBM Game Network.

Funding to assist with event registration, travel and accommodation is capped at AUD $5,000 for an individual or, where a strong case can be made, AUD $7,500 for a team of two or more people.

To be eligible to apply, you must be an established practitioner with a demonstrable track record.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
