The sqhub is open for business
– general industry membership now available
Recently the Honourable Jennifer Howard MP, Assistant Minister for Veterans’ Affairs and Assistant Minister of State, on behalf of the Premier of Queensland, officially welcomed the new residents of sqhub, a shared space that brings together Queensland game developers, digital content makers and screen industry creatives under the one roof.
What is the sqhub?
The sqhub initiative, funded by the Queensland Government through SQ, helps connect Queensland screen creatives across all parts of the screen sector by providing facilities and a co-working space to help build networks for innovative creators to develop and grow.
sqhub provides a flexible workspace that opens doors to greater collaboration and innovation between its screen and game development members whilst easing the financial strains placed on many startups, growing companies and individual practitioners.
Meet the inaugural sqhub residents
The sqhub residents are part of a 12-month membership model and will benefit from having key industry and other partners on board with an engaging program of business-focused workshops, masterclasses, mentorship and connecting opportunities to foster a dynamic community of screen innovators.
