Ten years later, Celeste is preparing to return to the stage one last time when her stepson, Jack (Thomas Cocquerel), arrives at her behest amidst preparations for the performance. Still haunted by the past, Jack finds Celeste is as beautiful, intoxicating and dangerous as he remembered. But when Celeste asks Jack for an impossible favour, the secrets that drove them apart explode back into rhapsodic life.
