Screen Queensland invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from early to mid-career screen practitioners through the SQattach program for Edit Assistant and Post Production Supervisor attachments in a long form drama series, creating opportunities for on-the-job skills and career development.

The Edit Assistant attachment is a paid position for 13 weeks, from 18 September to  15 December 2017. EOIs close 5pm (AEST, QLD time), Wednesday 30 August 2017. Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the employment period and have previous experience in the post production sector.

The Post Production Supervisor attachment is a paid position for 11 weeks, from 2 October to 15 December 2017. EOIs close 5pm (AEST, QLD time), Thursday 14 September 2017. Applicants must be available for employment for the entire duration of the employment period and have previous experience in the post production sector.

Early to mid-career practitioners interested in post production attachment positions on a long form drama series are invited to apply. The list of these practitioners will then be provided to the production company for recruitment purposes. Practitioners who have already applied to SQattach in these roles will automatically be shortlisted.

SQattach is designed to create on-the-job skills and career development for Queensland based screen professionals.   Project-based attachments can be an integral part of career development in features, broadcast, new platforms and games.

SQ offers professional attachment opportunities in partnership with producers, production companies and games developers and requires a commitment from producers to provide attachments when applying for the SQ Production Fund.
