The Screen Queensland Games Residency is a 52-week program for early-career game developers, focused on developing the skills and knowledge required to develop new games and games studios.
Operating in the style of an Artist-In-Residence program, ten successful participants will be provided with co-working space, access to leading industry experts, business mentoring and income support.
Background
Orçun is an experienced indie game developer who has worked in Turkey and Czechia. In 2019, he was supported through Screen Queensland’s Games Grant for his game Anytown Garage Sale Monsters.
Residency Project
Through the Games Residency program, Orçun is continuing work on Anytown Garage Sale Monsters, an isometric, single-player role playing and card game for PC and mobile.
Residency Goals
Orçun hopes to find other like-minded collaborators in the program and gain important industry connections. He aims to deliver the vertical slice of his game by the end of the 52 weeks.
