The Talent Gateway and Global Producers Exchange, run by Australians in Film (AiF) and Screen Australia with support from Screen Queensland has returned for its fifth instalment. The initiatives are designed to support Australian screenwriters, directors, producers and production companies to connect with the global market.

Through the programs, participants will develop the skills, knowledge, access and relationships necessary to succeed internationally, attracting US support, investment and partnerships for their career and projects.

Both programs function in two parts consisting of:

  • a bespoke four-month (part-time) online (virtual) program of roundtables and master-classes with key international screen decision makers, as well as individualised 1:1 mentorship
  • the creation of a proposal (utilising the learnings from the masterclasses) to successfully pitch projects and themselves to potential co-development, talent development and/or marketplace partners.

Applicants must be available to participate in all sessions, which will run from April to July 2026.
