PAX Rising 2025 Market and Travel Grants

Market dates: Friday 10 – Sunday 12 October

Market location: Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), South Wharf, Melbourne

Showcase your game at one of the biggest games events in Australia, PAX Aus. This year, Screen Queensland will be supporting 10 Queensland indie studios to showcase their latest project as part of PAX Rising.

Through our Market and Travel grants, recipients will receive up to $2,000 each towards costs associated with booking a booth and travel and accommodation to attend the market.

Applicants must have already secured a PAX Rising booth through RXGlobal for PAX Aus 2025 to be eligible for this funding. Please note that this fund cannot be used in conjunction to our general Market and Travel Fund.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Eligible applicants must:

  • be game developers who are Queensland residents, travelling as either an individual or a team
  • be the demonstrated owner of the rights to all projects listed as part of the application
  • have already secured a PAX Rising booth through RXGlobal for PAX Aus 2025.
HOW WILL MY APPLICATION BE ASSESSED?

Applications will be assessed by:

  • the potential impact of success at the market
  • the positive effect that attending the conference will have on your career
  • the viability of your pitch and strategy for PAX Aus 2025
  • details of the proposed meetings.
