Screenworks’ New Kids on the Block

Screen Queensland has partnered with Screenworks for New Kids on the Block 2025, supporting up to three North and Far North Queensland practitioners to attend the Regional to Global Screen Forum in Lennox Head from Wednesday 18 – Friday 20 June.

Designed for emerging practitioners and first-time attendees, New Kids on the Block provides both in-person and financial support through our Market and Travel Fund of up to $1,000 to help with registration, travel and accommodation costs.

Screenworks’ annual Regional to Global Screen Forum brings together leading screen producers, sales agents, broadcasters, streamers, agency representatives and industry guilds from across the country to participate in interactive panels, workshops and roundtables. The three-day event is also an opportunity for filmmakers to pitch their slates and make valuable connections.

New Kids on the Block is designed to make the conference a welcoming experience for first-timers, where they encouraged to get involved with the program and connect with industry practitioners.
