Screen Queensland is offering 8 practitioners the opportunity to attend the TAFE Queensland’s short course, Screen Industry On-Boarding Program.

The week-long course (occurring on weekday evenings, Saturday and Sunday) is designed for people with skills and experiences in hospitality, events, project management, business and beauty who are interested in the screen industry and wish to learn how their discipline can apply to departments in production.

Led by industry professionals, this course will cover:

  • The various roles and departments involved in a production;
  • How departments work together and the associated processes and procedures;
  • A site visit that will provide you with a first-hand view of various roles in action subject to COVID-19 protocols.

On successful competition of this course you will receive a certified Certificate of Completion, assistance with updating your resume and insight to applying for positions in the screen industry.

Screen Queensland will support the placement of 8 practitioners. This course is delivered in-person.


WHO CAN APPLY

This opportunity aims to elevate the skills of Queensland practitioners. This short course is designed for emerging practitioners, or those interested or looking to move into the screen industry.
