Screen Queensland is providing up to nine local practitioners with support to attend the Annecy International Film Market or Marché International du Film D’Animation (MIFA) as part of Ausfilm’s Australian Delegation.
Applications are open to Queensland-based practitioners with a slate of animation projects that are actively pitching. Recipients will receive up to $7,500 in support towards flights, travel, accommodation and accreditation costs.

Queensland inclusion in the Australian Delegation to Annecy Film Festival is delivered as part of our Market and Travel Fund.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Successful applicants will be responsible for their own travel arrangements including accreditation to the event. They will receive access to the early bird accreditation rate (valued at €420 excl. tax) provided by our partners, Ausfilm, and the following benefits:
- Up to $5,000 for an individual and $7,500 in financial support for a team towards travel, flights, accommodation and accreditation expenses
- Access to Ausfilm’s ‘Animation Australia Stand’ to hold meetings
- A panel discussion promoting and discussing Australia’s animation sector
- An Australian delegation web listing
- Inclusion in a showreel compiled specifically for the event showcasing individual animation company’s styles.
