Congratulations to Queenslander, Lily Sullivan, named as one of two runners up for 2015 AUSTRALIANS IN FILM HEATH LEDGER SCHOLARSHIP.

The AiF Australians in Film Heath Ledger Scholarship springboards early career actors onto the international stage. Lily Sullivan has been named as runners up alongside Emilie Cocquerel and both will receive a round-trip ticket to Los Angeles where they can profile themselves in the US market and they will also receive a scholarship to attend Masterclasses at Screenwise Film and TV School for actors in Sydney.

Lily made her talent known in her 2013 debut feature film, P.J. Hogan’s Mental (supported by Screen Queensland), where she played opposite Toni Collette, Liev Schreiber and Anthony LaPaglia. Lily earned an AACTA Award nomination for Best Young Actor and a Film Critics Circle of Australia Award nomination for Best Performance by a Young Actor.

Lily has recently wrapped on the Australian feature film Sucker to be released this year. She also co-starred in Rhys Graham’s feature Galore, which was in competition at Berlin International Film Festival in 2013 and earned her a ‘Best Supporting Actress’ award at 2014 Cinema des Antipodes Saint-Tropez.

Congratulations Lily!
