DEADLINE REMINDER: AEST 5pm, MONDAY 11 APRIL 2016

Screen Queensland (SQ) and ABC TV are calling out for Queensland producers to send in their ideas for factual formats for the ABC iview Queensland Originals: Factual Formats Initiative by 5.00pm, Monday 11 April 2016.

ABC iview Queensland Originals is an initiative that helps Queensland practitioners produce online factual and factual entertainment series to premiere on ABC iview – with the potential to be broadcast on ABC2 – supporting the development and production of up to three digital series. There is also the potential for sale in the international marketplace.

Applications for ABC iview Queensland Originals: Factual Formats close 5.00pm, 11 April 2016.

SBS Virtual Reality Initiative – Untold Australia Series 2

DEADLINE EXTENSION: AEST 5pm, MONDAY 18 APRIL 2016  

SQ and SBS have extended the deadline for the new Virtual Reality (VR) initiative – Untold Australia Season 2 (previous date 11 April) to the new deadline of 5.00pm, Monday 18 April 2016.

Untold Australia Season 2 will commission up to four talented Queensland filmmakers, or teams, to develop, produce and market VR short-form documentaries exploring the diversity of Australia’s people, their cultures and lifestyles.

All submissions must exploit the full potential of immersive VR.

Submissions for Untold Australia will close on 5pm, Monday 18 April 2016.
