Applications close 5.00pm AEST (QLD time) this Friday 1 April for Queensland producers wishing to apply for a Screen Queensland (SQ) Marketing and Travel Grant to attend the Marché du Film taking place in Cannes, France from 11-22 May 2016.

Producers applying for the Grant must be experienced, bona-fide Queenslanders (including the key creatives travelling with a producer as part of a team), and representing a slate of at least three (3) market-ready projects.

The Marché du Film is an annual market that runs in tandem with the Festival de Cannes, and is a key event on the global film industry calendar.  It is one of the most significant meeting points of more than 10,000 professionals, including 3,200 producers, 2,300 distributors rooms, 1,500 sellers and 790 festival organisers.

This is an opportunity to meet industry experts, participate in conferences, trade and to advance your projects.  It is where you can sell film rights, find co-producers and network network network. 

DEADLINE: Applications for Marché du Film travel grants must be received by 5.00pm AEST (QLD time), Friday 1 April 2016. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
