AIDC Regionality returns to the Sunshine Coast in 2026 for a third year on Friday 7 August.

Designed to cultivate and inspire regional Queensland documentary and factual talent, the conference focuses on the future of the sector and opportunities on the horizon for Queensland’s nonfiction filmmakers. AIDC Regionality features marketplace activities, networking and exclusive high-profile local and international guests speaking across craft and business.

The anticipated first line-up of speakers and decision makers will be announced on Thursday 11 June 2026, with the full program revealed on Wednesday 1 July 2026. 

AIDC Regionality is presented by AIDC and Screen Queensland with the support of Sunshine Coast Council, and in association with the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective.
