Learn from masters of online business and comedy taste-makers Georgia Mappin (Haven’t You Done Well Productions), Lee Naimo (Grouse House) and Sam Lingham (Aunty Donna) in our No Funny Business: Masterclass for Online Creators.
Tailored for creatives looking to break into the online space, scale-up their existing online business or take their comedy writing to the next level, this event features masterclasses designed to equip attendees with the tools to pitch with purpose, build their online business and refine their comedic writing for online. The masterclasses will be followed by networking and refreshments at Sea Legs Brewing Co.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Georgia Mappin
Georgia is the Managing Director for the Melbourne based sketch comedy group Aunty Donna and their production company Haven’t You Done Well Productions (HYDW).
HYDW is a comedy specialist, platform agnostic production company creating television, film and online projects. In 2023, the team produced and released Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe, a 6 x 22 minute TV series for the ABC. Currently they’re working on their film slate, with three features in the market and another three in development. Georgia also oversees the Grouse House distribution network which has over 100k cumulative subscribers covering web series and podcasts. The group have produced eight original web series, distributed another nine web series for the platform and developed and produced four original podcasts.
Aside to the longer form productions, the group have also recently produced global commercial campaigns for major brand partners such as LEGO, Playstation and Coles.
Georgia has 14 years experience developing advertising campaigns, original television and short form content. In 2014 she was the winner of SBS/ Screen NSW Comedy Runway and in 2016 developed and produced Kid vs Kid, a twenty episode kids comedy series for ABC3. Her series Seconds, an original dark comedy, was development funded by Screen Australia and short film Grace was nominated for an AACTA award in 2021.
Georgia recently completed the 2024 Screen Australia and Australians In Film supported Global Producers Exchange and is also undertaking a Masters of Screen Business at AFTRS.

Lee Naimo
As the latest addition to the Haven’t You Done Well Production Team, Lee Naimo is currently the Head of Creative for Grouse House, as a home for Australian alternative comedy. Prior to this role he was the Head of Online at Games at Screen Australia, managing a suite of funding programs and initiatives supporting emerging creatives. In this role he supported hundreds on online series and thousands of creators, and his unique view of the online storytelling landscape has given his a deep understanding of how to craft and market an online series to find an audience on platforms like YouTube, TikTok and more. He also lead Screen Australia’s return to games funding from 2022 to 2025, allocating over $13 million to over 140 games.
Lee is also known for his work in the Axis of Awesome, as guitarist and way way way up the back backup singer. Their Four Chords song has hundreds of millions of views online, and is still used in classrooms as a teaching tool to this day. He has been creating online content since the early days of YouTube, and thoroughly enjoys using his experience to help Australian creators find their audience among the millions of hours of online content uploaded every day.

Sam Lingham
Sam is the head writer and stage director for Melbourne based comedy group Aunty Donna. Aunty Donna has a hit podcast, a large online presence and tour globally. Sam has been the head writer and Executive Producer on the 2020 Netflix Original series Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House of Fun and the 2023 ABC series Aunty Donna’s Coffee Cafe.
Sam works in development as an Executive Producer for the group’s production company, Haven’t You Done Well Productions. Sam is a producer of the HYDW and Grouse House improvised studio series The Most Upsetting Guessing Game in the World. He is currently working as an EP on Westerners as part of the ABC and Screen Australian initiative Fresh Blood as well as his feature film, written with Michelle Brasier, The Alien Abduction of Emily Hill.
