Frackman – the movie to premiere in Brisbane on Monday 13 April

Frackman sold out in cinemas across New South Wales when it screened last month and now is Brisbane’s chance to see the film that everyone is talking about!

Following on from winning ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Environmental Film’ at the 2015 Byron Bay International Film Festival, Frackman is premiering in Brisbane on Monday 13 April, 6.30pm at Indooroopilly Event Cinemas (Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Moggill Road, Indooroopilly).

This special event screening will feature Dayne Pratzky (the Frackman himself), director Richard Todd and the film’s Queensland producer, Trish Lake on stage for a special Q&A event following the screening.

A second Brisbane screening of Frackman will take place on Monday 20 April, 7.00pm at the Queensland Multicultural Centre, BEMAC Cinema (102 Main Street Kangaroo Point). This event will feature Lock The Gate Alliance and producer Trish Lake taking questions after the film.

Tickets for both shows are selling fast:

Frackman has sparked a national debate about coal seam gas development. As one of seven Australian documentaries recently chosen for the inaugural Good Pitch Australia program, it is pioneering “hybrid” distribution, using a combination of Cinema on Demand, regular cinema screenings and digital distribution.
