Australia Independent Film Festival

Brisbane’s very own Australia Independent Film Festival returns bigger and better this September and you’re invited. View the full screening programme on www.ausindefest.com/programme

Screenings will take place at the iconic The Elizabeth Picture Theatre in the heart of the Brisbane CBD.

All festival tickets are strictly limited, so make sure you don’t miss out on any of this year’s amazing films.

Session one: Opening Night with Australian Shorts

Friday 18 September.
Doors @ 6pm
Screening @ 7pm – 9pm (approx)
AIFF20’s opening night. An evening celebrating the very best of the festival’s Australian Short Films. the bar will be stocked SO PLEASE JOIN US for what will be an incredible evening! Let’s open AIFF19 with a bang!

Master class with Michael O’Halloran

Saturday 19 September

Master Class 13:00 – 14:30 (approx)
Join Michael an award winning Brisbane based Director, Writer and Producer as he discusses working within the film and television industry in Australia through the story of Space/Time – his first feature film. A graduate of the Queensland University of Technology’s Bachelor Fine Arts Film and Television degree he will bring his extensive knowledge to the table in this up close and personal event. This master class is suitable for all people interested in film making as a career or for those who simply have a passion in all things film.

Session two: Around the World

Saturday 19 September

Screening @ 3:30PM – 5:30PM (approx)
Join us for an afternoon screening of animations, experimental films and short films from some of the world’s top filmmakers.

Session three: Closing Night with International Shorts

Saturday 19 September
Doors @ 5:30PM
Screening @ 6:00PM – 8:00PM (approx)
Last but definitely not least, AIFF20 presents some of the very best shorts from all over the world – we’re finishing our screening sessions on one amazing high.

The festival will conclude with an AWARDS ceremony @ 8:00pm – 9:00pm (approx).
