Screen Queensland today announced Ken Crouch as Executive Director, Industry and Audience Development, the second recent appointment as the agency strengthens its leadership team.
Ken brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across screen and digital games, creative industries, major events and public sector roles. He joins Screen Queensland from Screen Australia where he has led national initiatives to build industry skills and capacity and support regional growth within the Australian screen sector.
Previously Ken was Chief Executive Officer of Screenworks, leading the non-profit organisation in empowering screen creatives and crew across regional Australia through targeted development programs and industry initiatives. His career spans production, training and creative business development, with a strong commitment to building sustainable career pathways for screen professionals at every level.
In his role as Executive Director, Industry and Audience Development, Ken will lead statewide strategies to strengthen career progression and sector capability. He will oversee Screen Queensland Studios in Brisbane and Cairns and enhance audience engagement through Screen Culture funding, as well as expanding agency partnerships with education, training, government and industry to grow sector capacity.
Screen Queensland CEO Jacqui Feeney said that Ken’s appointment reinforces the agency’s commitment to nurturing talent and strengthening industry development.

Ken Crouch will commence his role at Screen Queensland on Monday 8 December, with the executive search supported by EP Australia.
