Monday 23 June – SmartyGrants closed for acquittals

Tuesday 1 July – Portal opens for applications, acquittals and practitioner profiles

Screen Queensland is replacing its SmartyGrants portal with a new platform from Tuesday 1 July 2025.

The move to Salesforce will assist funding applicants and recipients with a streamlined flow to make applying and acquitting Screen Queensland incentives, funds, grants and initiatives more efficient and easier to manage.

To support the migration to Salesforce, there are some important dates to note for SmartyGrants:

  • New applications are closed from Monday 2 June
  • Acquittals access is unavailable from Monday 23 June

All applications submitted prior to Monday 2 June (including approved applications) will be automatically migrated to the new system.

Application links for all ongoing incentives, funds, grants and initiatives will be live via the Screen Queensland website from 9am, Tuesday 1 July 2025.

For queries about individual applications or acquittals between now and July, please contact the relevant business unit or your contract manager directly.

Why is Screen Queensland making these changes?

Screen Queensland is implementing this change to make applications and acquittals quicker and easier for our sector, including:

  • improved functionality to reduce data entry
  • a clearer view of application status and acquittal requirements
  • more responsive communication throughout the application lifecycle.

Resources will be published on the Screen Queensland website to assist with the move to Salesforce and technical help will also be available.

Screen Queensland’s funding programs will not be changing, just the online platform to manage applications and acquittals.
