Learn what it takes to make your own podcast with Audiocraft. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to refine your story idea, develop a production plan, build a podcast kit, record a killer interview, write and read scripts and reach your audience.

Whether you’re just getting started, or you’ve been in the podcast game for a while, this session will help your podcast break through the noise.

About Audiocraft
Audiocraft is an organisation for Australian podcasters and radiomakers. They host Australia’s leading podcast Festival for creators, and run a content Agency specialising in high-quality audio productions.

About the Presenters – Kate Montague and Jess Bineth
Kate Montague is the Founder of Audiocraft. She has made audio stories for ABC RN’s Earshot, This is About, Pocketdocs and Long Story Short programs, the CBC’s Love Me podcast, NPR’s Snap Judgement, FBi Radio’s All The Best, online publications such as Narratively, and exhibitions such as The Pool. Kate is currently doing a practice-led PhD at Macquarie University researching personal storytelling in radio documentaries and podcasts.
Jess Bineth is the Co-Founder of Audiocraft. As a podcast producer at the ABC she’s worked on This is About, Ladies We Need To Talk, Earshot and PocketDocs. In the past she’s also been a supervising producer for FBi’s All The Best, has produced news and features at 2SER, and using her storytelling skills she’s worked on projects with Sydney Storytelling Factory, BIGhART and Sydney Architecture Festival.
