PITCHING EOI

Everything we commission at SBS must reflect our Charter and explore multicultural Australia. Our Charter makes us distinctive and gives us a clear vision. – SBS

Unscripted

Marshall and Josh will be taking pitches for short form, single docs, and series for unscripted programs – these can be factual, food, factual entertainment or entertainment ideas series. All ideas must reflect and explore SBS’s Charter of cultural diversity in Australia.

Scripted

Sue will be taking pitches for contemporary dramas that sustain 4 hours of television. We encourage ideas that focus on hot button topics that instantly generate water cooler conversation and cross platform opportunities.  In addition we are looking for bold and distinctive low cost narrative web series, no longer than 10 minutes per episode for SBS On Demand. We’re seeking ideas and stories that no other network would showcase. We do not commission sketch comedy or 30 minute narratives.

NITV is interested in pitches from emerging and established Indigenous filmmakers working in documentary, factual entertainment, online and children’s programming. More detailed information on NITV commissioning guidelines can be found here:
