NQ Discovering New Online Voices Event and Winner Announcement

Location: Pullman Cairns International, 17 Abbot Street, Cairns City

Date and time: Tuesday 23 July, 5pm -6:30pm

Cost: Free

Screen Queensland, in partnership with Screenworks and supported by Screen Australia, invite Cairns-based practitioners to join us for a networking event on Tuesday 23 July.

The event will include the announcement of the winning pitch from the NQ Discovering New Online Voices initiative.

This initiative was launched at the end of February, and the five selected finalists — Kate Boylan-Ascione, Garth Edwards, Shawn Drieberg, Jannah Dryden—have been working hard to perfect their stories and pitches over the past few months. The winning pitcher will receive up to $10,000 to progress their short form project.
