Screen Queensland is conducting an exclusive and intimate roundtable session with Grammy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated composer and music producer Simon Franglen.

As part of our proud partnership with BIGSOUND, Simon Franglen, while in the country for the festival conference, will join us for an evening to talk all things screen composing.

The event will offer up to 12 local practitioners the opportunity meet and learn from the man behind the music from Avatar: The Way of Water and The Magnificent Seven as well as contributing to the soundtracks of Titanic, Seven, Skyfall, The Amazing Spider-Man, Moulin Rouge! and more.

Bring all your questions and ideas to the table—from the intricacies of composing for the screen, to navigating big-budget productions, director relationships and tight turnarounds.

Please note: only successful applicants will be notified, and all applicants must be available to attend the date and time of the roundtable.
