MIPCOM (www.mipcom.com) – held in Cannes, France, 5-8 October – is the world’s largest entertainment market bringing together leading players in the global television industry.

It is an opportunity for Queensland producers to take to market factual and fiction projects, to absorb industry trends, and to strengthen and build professional networks.

SQ funding is available for individuals (up to $5,000) and teams (up to $7,500).

Applicants should be experienced Queensland-based producers with a demonstrable track record as screen producers. Preference will be given to those producers who have generated $1.5m QPE (or equivalent) in the past three years.

SQ may consider applications from less experienced producers where it can be demonstrated that funding will significantly support talent and professional development, and is happy to discuss with potential applicants whether exceptional circumstances apply.
