Screen Queensland in partnership with Screen Producers Australia and AFTRS will hold a Business Essentials 101 full day workshop in Brisbane on 30 April 2019.

The course will feature a selection of special guest speakers drawn from the business development, legal and production sectors, SPA policy executives and screen agency executives.  Course sessions will be curated in consultation with Screen Queensland to  address the needs of the state’s sector.

The SPA Business Essentials is presented in association with AFTRS and covers the commercial framework in which producers must operate. The course is designed to assist emerging and expanding screen practitioners to start, expand, develop, and grow a film and television business.

We highlight that this course will feature a new entrepreneurial module which will encourage innovation thinking and adaptive approaches for producers competing in an  entrepreneurial commercial market. This new module will be delivered by leading screen start-up and entrepreneurial leadership specialist and producer Kylee Ingram.
