The Queensland branch of the Australian Screen Editors guild (ASE) is thrilled to announce their first PostInsiders event of 2016.

On Thursday 17 March, they’ll be paying a visit to Breeder, one of the world’s leading motion design studios.

The team at Breeder helped create the stunning and award-winning opening sequence for HBO’s drama series True Detective, Season 1.

Recently, they created the opener for Syfy’s critically-acclaimed series, The Expanse.

Breeder editor, Alex Gee, will talk about what’s involved in editing for motion. Technical Lead, Christ Morris, will then breakdown what was involved in creating The Expanse project.

Following these presentations we’ll share some drinks and have the chance to chat and network.

Check out some of Breeder’s work here.

This event is open to members of ASE and affiliated screen guilds (AWG, ACS, ASSG, ADG etc.). Info on becoming a member is below.
