Screen Queensland farewells Chief Creative Officer, Jo Dillon

It is certainly a sad week for Screen Queensland next week, as we farewell our Chief Creative Officer, Jo Dillon.

After 7 ½ years with Screen Queensland, Jo will take up a new role leading a media start-up in the new year.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jo for two years and in that time, she has always demonstrated such incredible commitment to the Queensland screen industry through her ideas and creative vision.

Jo is brimming with energy and pushes so hard every day, for a better outcome for screen creatives in Queensland. She is an authentic change-maker.

Jo also admirably co-chaired the Screen Diversity and Inclusion Network for a year (with Benjamin Law), driving real change and take-up of SDIN’s The Everyone Project.

Her accomplishments are too numerous to mention here, so I will just say that her sense of humour, her loyalty and her passion for all things screen will be missed at Screen Queensland.

We wish her every success in this new stage of her career.
