Screen Queensland operates a network of studios in the state which form creative hubs for productions, situated near international airports and a variety of breathtaking locations in Brisbane and Cairns, along the state’s eastern coast.

Screen Queensland Studios, Brisbane has been home to productions from Boy Swallows Universe, Deadloch S2, Love and Monsters and more since opening from 2019.

Screen Queensland Studios, Cairns opened in April 2024 with production for Aussie Shore and more already utilising the state-of-art facilities.

To compliment our stunning natural locations and studio network, we also offer Locations Scouting Assistance and maintain a initiative that forms a bridge between local government and incoming productions called the Film Friendly Council program.

The Brisbane studios includes a total lettable area of 16,000sqm total (173,000sqft) with two soundstages both 3000sqm x 7m h (32,291sqft x 23.6ft h). Additionally, the lot has:
