ArtSpear Entertainment

ArtSpear Entertainment is an independently owned multiplatform production company based on the Gold Coast specialising in genre comedy feature films, series and animation. With 3.5 million subscribers and over a billion views, ArtSpear is known for its animated and live-action pop culture spoof series Toon Sandwich, as well as their multi-award-winning web series UnTrue Crime and The Void: Rebooted and feature films Australiens and The Killage

WHAT WILL SCREEN QUEENSLAND’S FUNDING SUPPORT?

With the support of Screen Queensland, ArtSpear Entertainment will undertake key brand work and bring onboard permanent animators to give founders Joe and Rita more time to develop original IP for both the YouTube Channel and pursue their long-form ambitions.  

CrackerMilk

CrackerMilk is an ensemble of comedy creators specialising in online sketches and improvised podcasts. Their ability to resonate with their viewers’ funny bone through short form comedy has amassed them over 2.5 million followers across social media and almost 2 billion views on YouTube. 

WHAT WILL SCREEN QUEENSLAND’S FUNDING SUPPORT?

Funding will assist CrackerMilk to explore new revenue opportunities—including direct to audience platforms—and expand their production team.  

Ms Moni

Ms Moni is an Australian children’s brand created and produced in Queensland by Monica and Nelson Ferreira, a husband-and-wife team. The brand combines music, storytelling and interactive learning to support early childhood development. Over the past three and half years, Ms Moni has grown to reach over 270,000 subscribers and more than 160 million views on YouTube.  

WHAT WILL SCREEN QUEENSLAND’S FUNDING SUPPORT?

Through the Online Elevation Fund, Ms Moni will explore opportunities for a new digital platform to home the range of Ms Moni resources and content. 

Tibees

Toby Hendy operates Tibees, a Queensland-based creator-led business producing original long-form and short-form science and mathematics content for a global audience. The Tibees brand has two arms, the YouTube channel and bookstore where Toby self-publishes creative collaborations from the world of science, storytelling and strange ideas. The Tibees YouTube channel connects with 1.33 million subscribers with a further 215,000 followers on TikTok and 46,000 followers on Instagram. Tibees has built a substantial and engaged audience around high-quality non-fiction content with thoughtful, visually distinctive and personality-led storytelling that presents mathematics and science in a calm, creative and accessible way.  

WHAT WILL SCREEN QUEENSLAND’S FUNDING SUPPORT?

Through Screen Queensland’s Online Elevation fund, Tibees will diversify revenue streams, strenghten operational systems, expand her team and grow an ecosystem of audience-aligned products. 

Zachary Staines

Zachary Staines is a Queensland-based YouTuber who creates entertaining technology experiments, taking classic and unexpected hardware and testing them against modern software. Since 2018, Zachary’s channel has grown to reach over 202,000 followers and 83 million views driven by his series on Minecraft.  

WHAT WILL SCREEN QUEENSLAND’S FUNDING SUPPORT?

Through the fund, Zachary will identify new revenue streams to support his business’ growth towards sustainability, engage a new studio space for creating and expand his content formats.
