Screen Queensland (SQ) is thrilled to be working with QUT Creative Industries to bring to you a special panel event on Friday 15 April, 4.00pm – 6.00pm, taking you further inside the world of Virtual Reality.
With the launch of the SQ and SBS Virtual Reality (VR) initiative Untold Australia Season 2 (deadline extended to 5.00pm, Monday 18 April 2016) – SQ understands the importance of bringing technology creators and screen practitioners together in a physical space to ensure stories and ideas can manifest in the virtual space.
SQ and QUT Creative Industries aim to bring local VR contacts and companies together to start collaborations for immersive Queensland stories in the world of Virtual.

> Thomas MacNamara from Light Weave (formerly CodeLoaf) – VR game developers working with Oculus, Vive and Unity
> Phil Hagstrom from Khemistry who will be demonstrating 360 degree filming, cameras and editing processes for VR display
> David Gaylard from Wild Blue Sound who will demo and present 3D sound recording, editing and localisation for VR environments
