Screen Queensland—in collaboration with Trade and Investment Queensland—has partnered with the Interactive Games and Entertainment Association (IGEA) to organise and manage an Australian pavilion stand at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany from Wednesday 23 August to Sunday 27 August.
As part of our Market Program, Screen Queensland will be offering three grants of $4,000 each to be used towards travel and accommodation costs to attend Gamescom 2023.
Gamescom is the world’s largest digital games event and a platform for the biggest players in the European games industry. The convention showcases the latest in games technology and trends as well as providing a space for international industry practitioners to convene and network.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications will be accepted through the SmartyGrants platform and will require the following documentation and information:
- project pitch document
- CV and biography
- plan and strategy for attendance
- budget breakdown
- details of organisation (if applicable).
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
All applicants will be assessed according to Screen Queensland’s Travel & Marketing Grants Funding Guidelines.
